Dawn is a young student looking to learn about properly lifting weights in the gym.

During the pandemic, her poor eating habits coupled with a lack of exercise spiralled into a full blown Eating Disorder, leading to a very negative relationship with food.

Counting calories before made things worse and she was worried she couldn’t look at food the same way again. The simple task of eating became an anxiety-ridden endeavour instead of enjoyment and nourishment.

Dawn used to train under another Personal Trainer; after taking the ANTS L1 course on the basics in Nutrition & Training, she decided to take the plunge in hiring a professional again to do it the right way this time.

Over the course of 9 weeks, it was a steep learning curve for new exercises and pushing physical boundaries. Dawn was given 1800-2000kcal daily as long as her protein targets were met, and she still managed to lose body fat while GAINING about 2kg in weight (muscle).
